Holding an honours degree in engineering, Carl brings his analytical background to real estate when preparing marketing campaigns, negotiating or problem solving. He is well attuned to the changing trends and lifestyle changes that impact the market and he constantly analyses statistics to give his clients informed and up to date advice.
Having lived in Ponsonby since the early 1980's, Carl has extensive area knowledge and appreciates the appeal of living in the area. Carl enjoys developing a close rapport with his clients and has built a vast network of contacts, which includes many loyal customers.

Rosanne has assisted Carl Madsen at the Ponsonby branch of Barfoot & Thompson since 2010 in a customer support role. After a long and successful career with Air New Zealand she is highly regarded for her exceptional customer service skills, and is now enhancing every client’s dealings with Carl and the branch.
Aiming to provide an incomparable experience for their clients, Rosanne works closely with vendors to prepare their homes for sale and throughout the entire sales process. Often short of time, vendors appreciate Rosanne’s calm and assured manner of preparing their home to open it to potential buyers.
Often the first point of contact purchasers have with the home and the sales team, Rosanne collects and collates their details and is always available to answer queries and provide any further assistance that is required.
